Hooray, it's Friday!!
Ok, got some serious questions for you this week....really, REALLY want some feedback. Please take the time to comment here or email your answers to kellerscreations@acidfree.com. Sharing here is our first choice, so we can all share in each other's ideas...but either way, please let us know what you think.
Today's questions come from a personal situation that might have a professional solution. Hmmm...what is she talking about now, you're thinking to yourself.
Negatives. That's what I'm struggling with. What to do with my negatives. Piles and piles....
So, here's what I want to know:
1. Do you have negatives you'd like to have a solution to? Say, a digital backup?
2. Are they all 35mm or do you have various sizes?
3. Do you have a local place that offers negative scanning?
4. Have you already found a solution? What did you do?
Ok, easy enough, right? Can't wait to see what you all have to say.
Remember, too, that by simply answering these 4 questions, you'll be entered into a drawing. For what? This week 1 lucky winner will receive a personalized coupon code to use throughout 2010 for FREE SHIPPING on anything & everything ordered from us this year! You can order 1 little thing whenever you need it and not have to worry about shipping costs....you can order a pile of heavy chipboard, knowing we are covering the cost to get it to you....FREE SHIPPING for 2010. Fun, huh?
That's it. Good luck...and Happy Friday!

Sorry I wasn't much help on this one!!!
I have tons of negatives that I have NO idea what to do with. Right now they are just stored in the old envelopes that the prints came in when I had them printed years ago. I need some ideas of what to do with them, because I would like to save them. Help!
Hello! My husband and I have so many negatives in various sizes and have no clue what to do with them! We would be open to any solutions. As far as I am aware, there is no place around us that helps with negatives
or scanning them.....
Many thanks, Cindi

I checked on the web and found www.smarthouse.com.au that gives you instructions on how to use a scanner to save negatives. But it does advise that you have plenty of space on your hard drive.
Haven't tried it, in the process of upgrading my computer so I could even do this.
Good Luck to anyone that wants to try. Hope this helps.
I only use digital now but I have picture envelopes full of old negatives. My sister had a 3 ring binder that had pages with slots to hold individual negatives but that is a lot of work and you can't see the picture easily. I haven't checked with large camera stores to see if they have a solution. I would like a solution for my negatives.
