Thank you, too, to everyone for all the wonderful birthday wishes! I had a great weekend with family & friends in Pine Mountian, GA. If you are close enough to go & haven't before, I say go & have some fun like we did...Wild Mountain Safari (where you drive thru & feed animals out of your hands!!).....quaint small town with fun shops & an ice cream soda shop that's been there over a 100 years...mountain cabins to enjoy s'mores & the outdoors....all so fun. I will be getting some fun pictures on our facebook page soon, so be sure to check back.
And, probably the funniest thing I've seen in a while...watching my brother KISS a camel and long horn steer!! Only my brother.

Another fun giveaway....
This week, we are giving 2 lucky winners a Fold Out Accordion book from Cardstock Warehouse. If you haven't heard of Cardstock Warehouse, we just love them! They make the 36 custom colors of cardstock we use on a daily basis...and it's just the best....one side is textured and one side is smooth, the best of both worlds...gotta love that.
And, to be entered to win, just leave a comment here (or email us) to let us know one of your favorite birthday memories. Sunday is my 43rd, and I'll be back on here Sunday night to post the winners...and maybe share a funny story or two of our weekend. (I'm off on a family adventure that my brother has deemed "Lampoon's Wilderness Weekend"...so I'm sure funny stories WON'T be in short supply!)
Happy Friday!

Fun idea with hearts...

I used a pack of the Classic Hearts in the Eye Candy Collection, adhered to 3 of the 5 chipboard hearts that come in the Classic Heart Chipboard book. I punched another set of holes in each of the hearts (1 hole is punched in the book ones)...then added on of our Angelic Scroll Stamps & our "Kiss" word stamp...put a Slide Spot in the pink Slide Mount, and added a couple Rings in Truffle cardstock. I distressed the edge of all the pieces with brown ink. And, the cute LOVE letters are from the $1 section at Target. Oh, I added Stickles to the inside edge of the Slide Mount and the Rings. Then, I tied it all together with white sheer ribbon.
20 minutes. Precut pieces. Adorable decoration. It's that simple.
Hoping your having a weekend full of love!

It's Friday...and Fabulous...
You know Sunday is Valentine's Day, right? How could you NOT know that, with every commercial on tv & radio and the zillions of junk emails reminding you to buy flowers & chocolate & to go out to dinner?!
Isn't it supposed to be about love? Pure & simple, love.

I haven't been a huge fan of Valentine's over the last several years (can you tell I'm divorced?)...but I do have fun seeing it thru Keller's eyes. He used to have so much fun making cards & treats to share at school...now, at 14, it's all about the dance. And, tonight is the big night for him...Valentine's Dance as an 8th grader at the middle school. (he keeps telling me that everything this year is more important b/c his class is the oldest in the school!) At first I was excited that a girl asked him to the dance. Then, it sunk in. He has a date. YIKES! Keller on a date....too much to comprehend. I'll be sure to let you all know how it goes tonight....
But, back to LOVE and our giveaway. I know that we all show love to our children & those around us everyday. Maybe not as much as we should, but we do.
But, how do those around us show us that they do indeed love us?
To be entered in today's drawing, leave a comment here (please try...but you can email us if you have to) telling us about your most special memory of someone showing you they loved you. Maybe it was something they said....maybe a gift they gave you...maybe something they did for you. Tell us. Maybe it will give us all new ideas of how to show our special ones how much we love them.
Oh, want to know what you could win??

(11" jumbo heart books, shown here in our Family Kit)
This week 3 lucky winners will receive one of our Jumbo Heart Books! Yep, 3 people this week. Why? Because I love you, of course.
Happy Friday...and Happy Valentine's Day!

90 Years Ago Today...
This is one of my favorite pictures of Ginny and Keller together. They had such a special bond. And, I try so hard to keep her memory alive for him. I will never forget her laugh, her loving touch, and the many stories she would tell me....and I hope much of that stays with him thru time, too.
If you still have your grandmother (or grandparents for that matter), hug her today for me...or call her to tell her you love her if she's not close enough to hug. Do it in honor of my Ginny.
