I do some digital scrapping. I have made my own digital layouts for photo books for trips to Disney etc, where I want to devote one whole album to a subject. I like to print out elements on rub-on sheets, vellum etc and use them on my paper pages the most- which I believe is hybrid scrapping. But I am a tactile person and when it comes down to it I still love to work with my hands.

I tried the digital scrapbooking, but I don't guess I gave it enough time. It was a little confusing on Photoshop and I couldn't really get it to look like I wanted. Then after seeing it, I realized I like the feel of a real scrapbook with all the embellishments and 3-D looks plus I like collecting all the stuff that goes into a non-digital scrapbook!

I don't do any, but I would like to do a bit of hybrid. I just need to get a printer set up in a more convenient manner to make it happen.

I have not done any digital scrapping yet but like the thought of it, however I am so stocked up on traditional materials I am totally scared to try digital until I use my MASSIVE traditional stash.

I did one free photo book from Snapfish, but I really like stuff I can touch.

I have never done it, would love to learn. Maybe now that my schedule is not so hectic, I can take the time!

I only have decorative fonts on my computer. I've used them a little, but I like the homemade look of regular scrapbooking.

I don't use digital..but I am inspired by it each time I see it. I:)

I have made photo scrapbooks on snapfish and shutterfly but I have found that my handmade scrapbooks are more appreciated than the digital ones.

The only digital I do is for journaling - I love to print out my journaling on vellum and attach it to my pages. I'm such a collector of paper, cardstock, and embellishments that I don't think I would be happy with plain digital.

I got digital software for christmas and have been loving it for quick layouts but will continue to scrap nondigitally and use all the supplies I love.

Can't wait to receive my YTR kit! After seeing the pictures, I'm really excited to get started. And I signed up for the cruise, too! Whoo hoo! Can't wait til July.

I've have tried digital scrapbooking a few times and it just takes me too long. I have so much invested with traditional scrapbooking I'd hate to invest time into another method.

I've tried digital scrapbooking and have the Your Story to bind books. But I also like the "touch" approach with 3D elements on my page. I'm still trying to figure out how to print front and back of pages on slick paper.

OOOHHHH- i just got my digital scrap program and i luuuvv it. it's from Stampin Up, but you can add other jpegs, pages and stuff to it. I made a card, a calendar and a book. It's super easy and fun.

I tried it, but it wasn't for me. Guess I just like getting glue and ink and chalk on my hands! I like the feel of textures on my layouts by using stitching and layering. Perhaps some day I'll give it another try, but for now I'm still old school.

I have never tried the digital scrapbooking. I am just a beginner and have collected some supplies now I need to just get started!

I have created digital scrapbooks online and love the way they come out but nothing ever replaces the handmade scrapbooks or the time spent with the girls making them.

I have tried a couple of pages, but need a faster computer and a better printer.

I love digital scrapping and work on LO's daily. I cannot give up my paper scrapping though because I would not be able to live without the tactile satisfaction I get from handling all the wonderful papers and embellishments that make up my pages. I have created several printed books digitally of family vacations.

TIME TO SCRAP! What an adorable title. That's exactly what I am looking for "time to scrap". Somehow scrapbooking is always last on the agenda and never gets done. I hope if I win this book it will include ideas on how to fit scraping into a busy life.

I'm a glue it - glitter it- touchy-feely kinda gal. No digital here.

I've dabbled in it and saved a lot of files to use if I ever get there, but when I do, I will still have to add embellishments and some of the real stuff, so I'll definitely be a hybrid digital scrapbooker! I love the touch and feel and I want to print them out to hold the book in my hot little hands!

No to digital scrapbooking. I enjoy using my hands and working with all the fab items around me; and looking for more whenever I can!

I do not do any digital scrapbooking. I do like the look of those pages on websites, but I have never seen one "live". I really do like to play with my paper and look through my stash of embellishments/stickers/chipboard. I also ike to use my Slice for tags and swirls, etc. as well as for the fonts. I like to journal on the computer and print it in the font style and in the color I want on the color of paper I have. I also would be afraid that I would never print it out and the pages would be stuck on my computer forever.

I have done no digital scrap booking at home; however, I have purchased a few scrapbook picture books through Shutterfly and Snapfish. Even though these books have no embellishments, I love them and they are making me take baby steps towards digital scrapbooking!

I have not used digital scrapbooking yet, but plan to check it out during the new year.

I do the jounaling and some other things on pagers. I have found items online that I use for paper pieceing. I would love to have a 12 inch printer. I believe if i did have one i'd do more digital scrapping.

Unknown said...

I do both, probably 60% paper and 40% digital. I love them both and it will just depend on the project I am doing at the time and how much time I have to do it. I combine a lot also. I'll make a small brag book digitally and then decorate the cover and add some embellishments to the pages for a textured effect. Or I'll make the title for a paper page digitally or embelishments, journaling, etc. I love combining them. If I had to pick only one, I'd pick paper. I love working with it. I love the dimensional finish, but digital is so quick and fun (after you learn all the tips and techniques). They are both way too addicting.

Happy Friday! I have two friends that began digital scrapbooking a few months ago. Now, they are
trying to help me learn how to do
my scrapping digitally, but your fabulous book would certainly
help me a lot. Many thanks, Cindi

I have not done any digital scrapbooking yet as I am still working with photos from 2003! But I am looking forward to the day when I am caught up and can scrap the photos I am archivinh right now.

don't do a lot of digital. Like to actually put my pages together.

I haven't tried digital scrapbooking, yet. Is that the same thing as a "photo book"? I really like the size and and the number of photos you can get in a photo book. But if I started making all digital books what would I do with all of my Keller's Creations? And what would I do at a crop?

Hey everybody - Have you seen the new "yearbook" kits? Saw them this weekend and they really look good! Awesome job Kim!!!

I have done a digi scrapbook in the past but not since the "new" stuff is out. It seemed a little boring at the time. The new stuff seems a bit better but just don't have the time to "learn" about it.

It was great seeing you at TFKF!! Can't wait to see a photo of your new addition coming soon!
